A mate asked me to go to Aldi for him this morning as he was working. They had self-propelled mowers on special. I lined up with all these old guys and everyone was friendly and chatting until the doors opened.
I have never seen behavior like happened next. I got pushed along with the stampede then had three cartons ripped out of my hands and old mate who was standing next to me outside chatting and who arrived exactly the same time as me screamed I was here before you as he tore another carton from me.
Another pallet got brought in from out the back and I was lucky enough to snaffle one. I then stood back as these old codgers abused and yelled at each other and there was cardboard and straps all over the joint. They then barged thru the curtains and were scuffling in the store room.
Seagulls fighting over chips is what I thought.
Don't go near Aldi on Saturday morning is my warning. My mate owes me big time and my hands were shaking for an hour after this. |

They must get fit pushing those old mowers around.
Note to self. Keep away from chemists when viagara is on special.
