but all jokes aside it is something i'm really jealous England and Malta get to ride quad bikes around the streets legally

Just been in Mykonos and you can hire them there for the day at a cost of 25 Euro and go where ever you want on the island.....NO helmets and 2 up are all the go.

thats really sad. ive also driven past that very spot when i went there. the way i see it with motorbikes as well as soon as you get on the bike you have excepted and know the risk that you may not come back

I wish for 1/2 your mis-fortune. I halted a lot of my own trail riding so to appear more responsible when dealing with the Qld govt.
( any credability get blown out the window when you get charged for stuff.)
Mind you, I'm looking forward to the Quad Muster in Townsville at the end of september. Part of which will include a sanctioned 210km back roads ride.
BTW, WA's rec rego scheme, which has no CTP component, apparently nets that state $8 million a year. Chicken feed in mining terms, but income for bugger all expenditure when this country has so many areas that off road riding can occur without interfering with the road network.

I used to have similar problems. Swapped for a better model, and kept the bike.
