Hi my first post just wondering if anyone out there would know why this SAuzuki LTF250 would be burning out spark plugs. You cahnge it and away it goes again. The top end of it has been rebuilt would this have any affect on the plug burning out.
I hope someone can shed a bit of light.
Thanks
Daz

Sorry at the moment I dont actually have a burnt plug to show you.But I have just found out that the topend was febuilt due to smoking and he couldnt get it to go,so the chap I bought it off said he took it to the bike shop and they said the timing was way out,now would this cause the plugs to burn if it is still out????? Or something with the voltage regulator or some other electrical thing. Plus I think it maybe the King Quad which may be a LTF 300 I dont know how to tell any pointers on that.
Thanks

I have put a recommended plug in it it and since I have it running the plug seems fine I have had it running for over 30 mins on and off starting and stopping and it seems great.Just to clarify why I have a few posts on here I have only just bought this bike and am unfamiliar with them,as it looks like people have been tinkering with it previous to me.Parts are missing and I only seek info about it so I can have a decent machine to ride around and to have confidence in.
I do hope that you bare with me and can help me with info when you can which will be greatfully received I can guarantee it.
Thanks
Daz

It is running heaps better now when I first started it it was missing and spluttering but it is good now, copression should be all good as the top end has just been rebuilt. All I need now is to track down some parts for it.
I really appreciate all your interest.
Thanks
