Just built a raptor 700 engine that runs over a 100rwHP.
just wondering if there are many out there running these numbers
This graph was the last run of the night it was run in shootout mode 8. With the air fuel meter in the exhaust and in shootout 4 mode it run 105hp. with the air fuel out of the exhaust it ran 107 in shoot out 4
i am happy to run this on any dyno in canberra with any one who would like to be there. some people have called me a dreamer. any way happy to run it up with people there.

| these kits will do over 100rwhp but they are a drag only engine i know a few people in the us that tryed them for duning and trails and they were hand grenades goodluck you will need atleast a +10 swinger and stay away from big bore kitted kfxs or you will be eatn up lol |

It will be interesting to see what lets go on this I have no dought somthing will not like the amount of torque it makes.
I would like to know what happened to the hand grenades you know of. It will be good to keep an eye out for.
There is a lot of the engine that is the same as the last build when it was making 85-90RWHP with a std crank So those parts should be ok LOL.
Belive me there is no kit you can go and buy to make these engines. There are web sites and outlets that say this and that but you go and order some of the parts and the stuffing around really starts. Big T the owner of the engine is on first name bases with the person who makes the cranks and rods. We had 3 go's at getting the correct piston out of them and in the end we just machined the crown down to the spec we wanted.
There is still a fair amount of custom work to make good power out of these things. Time will tell how long it will last. |

| breaking crank cases and piston failure i know some body that just done a big $$ turbo rappy build from d7 and it smashed casings and cracked piston everything has a breaking point simple |

ok you can go and buy a cylinder, crank and rod kit and most likly all the parts but just bolting it together dose not get good power or a relible engine. I would not use a std stroked crank even if the pin was welded. it may be ok but not somthink I would run.
from a cost point of view a vtr1000 or LT1000r engine would be a cheaper option but each to there own. If it was my bike thats the way i would go.
One point of the build was to keep the engine looking as stock as possible. to some degree this has been achived. to walk past it you would not think it makes as much power as it dose. |

the head has plus 2 KW valves. two back cuts on them and tapered leading edge on the inlets. Port work done by myself. seats done by one of the big boys.
the frame had to be cut so we could get the throttel body and custom short inlet manifold to flow correctly. |

My 10 is 5 yrs old and just as reliable as the day i built it.
2 oil changes and petrol is all that its recieved.
Come talk to me when your raptor has 170 hp,
does 13k rpm. 240 kph and dosent need yo be rebuilt every
week. |

My raptors make more than 170 hp and only 8k rpm, and they dont need oil changes, as we rebuild them every month, LOL. Oh and congrats on the dyno numbers for the 907, dam good for na. _________________ TPA
