Have you ever found yourself wondering......

- Is Yogie as good looking in person as he is in his pictures?
- Can Fossil's Raptor really be that gay?
- Is Smithy ginger all the way from head to toe?
- Is Feral Kid the steel boomerang throwing star of Mad Max 2 ?

.... I know I have.

That is why I am running this poll to gauge the interest in holding a yearly get together for this wonderful forum of ours. Something along the lines of a social gathering at a legal ride location such as Frogmore or Manar Park with race events, family events, etc. over a weekend. Please add your ideas and possible dates as well.

Haha thats not far off from being me. I try not to wear the tail in public though and the cops confiscated my boomerang because it was under the dangerous weapons act. Laughing
I personally think we to have a good yearly social event though that has race events, social riding and family things too. Its held every year on the Anzac day long weekend.

TP300
We had racers there (Bullet, cowchaser), social riders, (Grizzly), familys and met up with a lot of people on the site as well as others not on it. This year just as an indicator I met up with from the site, Dangerman4, Grizzly and his family, Bullet, Cowchaser, JRE, Azza450, Ovens, Jono,Roycroft, Beechy, MrsB, Noodles, Ms450, Jumbo and the rest of the people that I have forgoten to add or didn't know you were on here but met you anyway.

No way can another thing hurt though.
And yes I can vouch for Smitty's head being Ginger as for the rest of it I don't really want to know. Laughing

Thanks Feral, a detachable tail...now there's something every bloke could use. TP300 is a race event albeit a fairly social one at this stage. I am suggesting a purely social gathering like the QLD guys have at Manar Park but on a much larger scale, to be held at one of the ride parks so that we are supporting these businesses, set up for our benefit, while having a great time.

Sounds like a top idea......... i would definately be in on something like this.

You could set it up similar to a ute muster but would be a quad muster.
Including events, activities, racing. Maybe even throw in a band and a full bar. Very Happy

But to go to this extent would require a big fund raiser or would have to sell tickets for admission.

If you were going to go this far with it i would be more than happy to assist in setting it up as i'm sure many others on the forum would too. Cheers. laughing

Depends on the location. For me, Western Australia is out of the question. Everywhere else, maybe. Newcastle, most definately.

No, the camera adds a few lbs.
Yes, custom matched to the rider.
Dunno, don't wish to know.
Yes, definitely.

Sounds like a plan, somewhere in the middle would make sense.

Thats 4700klm each way..and yes probably. It would have to be a decent sized event though with decent numbers. All of my family and friends live over East and we head back now several times a year already, flying though not towing the trailer across. We would probably work it into a decent sized holiday and spend a couple of weeks at the block as well. When are you coming up to Hedland for a ride? We can come down your way one weekend if you are finding it hard getting here.
