Has any one been to Manor park?

spoke to the guy on the phone and it sounds first class

i am thinking of going on the labour day long weekend is any one keen?

i think its a 3.5 hour drive from bris and 2.5hours from the sunny

the park has 15000 acres with moto x tracks/flat tracks and 200kms of enduro loops
they also have creek crossings with 150kms of 4x4 tracks

gas showers and flush toilets and powered sites if needed (air con lov it)

he did say its has some rocky tracks and some of the best QLD dust around ------- chicks love it

you can also bring your pets (i my case dog and bird) and kids

i will leave on the friday arvo and come back monday arvo if any one is keen to meet up just let send a PM and we are away

(only riders that can keep up with the bog stock yellow sub need to PM)

yep i have been there......dusty would be a major understatement!!!!!!
its like fine powder, and it just stayed in the air for ages.take your filter oil..

i timed it on the way home, 4.5 hours and i was doing 110 most of the way..


the creeks didnt have any water in them (about 12 months ago)

there was a track that had been layed out with tires,had about 6 or 7 corners, was awesome

its alright but i dont think its worth the travelling time...

hows you 450 going have you got it sorted yet? as its almost time to get another ride going -- are you up for it?

the 450 is still in the shed im getting some bushes machined for the
a-arms, new chain & sprokets, tires,mirror polishing the clutch cover & exhaust pipe and im going to see about someone that knows what there doing to set up the suspension because i have no idea

proberly be couple of weeks or so. but im keen when i get it going

i'm from sydney but went up the bit over a year ago, and it was real disappointing. I'd say Blackduck Valley is 10 times better and thats no understatement, was there this year bout 3 months ago.

what part didnt you like about it -- the MX tracks/trails/other or all?

i still think i will make the trip just to find out for myself --- im sure there will be some (i told you so) going on

i also love blackduck and we try to go once a month when we can

yeah i envy u, i loved blackduck, the only troble is i live 12 hrs away, lol. Um, when we went it was just to run down, they had the hoses there to water down the tracks and so on but never did. The mx tracks would've been alright but also hadn't been touched in a long time. If ur into jumpin manar wouldn't really be the place, there was only one 70ft tabletop and it was pretty sketchy. Don't get me wrong though the trailrides were some fun but make sure u bring the map with ya, easy to get lost. Enjoy

I know where these sandpits of theirs are so if they dont invite us well make our own party.

Huge - sounds like a good idea, another little gathering - where u thinking of going .... that winding track through the forest was a blast last outing ...

I will get GPS as well ..that way if we loose Huge and co we dont have to keep backtracking all day ......

maybe we invite that sir lancelot fella thats new on here, he sounds like a hoot !!!!!!

I was there about 2 weekends ago, the fella who own's it just sold it, he said that apparently the new people are only going 2 run it on weekend's, but i'll confirm 4 ya, the pitboss track is about the beat 4 quad's, has man made ramp in it u go ubder as well, but yeh, poorly maintained, off angeled up ramp's, ok 4 2 wheelers but on a quad u wouldn't hit most of the jump's tapped! but the enduro is sic as all ****!, 15,000 acres of it, just hpoe new mob look afta it better! but air-conditioned sleeping containers are a good side 2 it all as well as the amenities!

my kids are keen to hit what tracks they have there but i am going for the trails ------ should be good
as far as sleeping -- i have heating and aircon in the trailer and have asked for a powered site

are you that guy from blackduck at the 100 footer that day?

Yeh, that was me at BlackDuck, but i now can't ride as i have an artificial bone & 2 screws in my knee! my mate bought a quad afta riding mine and then decided 2 run me over!! well accidently, so i forgive him but he rides, and is dam quick so if i can't ride he probably will, but i'll still B there, as we often organise rides with some QLD boyz, i'll pm u the rest! Cheers!

Hi Mildgen , I went out for the day on long weekend. Took me 2.5 hrs from Maroochydore (sunshine coast). Was flying though !!

Had a ball , Caught up with Huge, did a few trails, did all the MX tracks , also did the "circular oval" , that was a blast. Huge found the riv ers and puddles , i watched

We went out on the enduro tracks , they were great , ..... fast smooth and a little twisty up and down hills.

Facilities top notch , incl toilets and showers. Even Ice and Icecreams available.

Was a few folk there, mostly families and small groups.
Dust on roads was a bit of an issue , but if u ride right and get into the forest it wasn't a problem.

Huge and I ended up doing one of the "extreme tracks" no problem to a confidient rider, but not speed here , more technique.

Definately recommend , and will be returning shortly.Probabally an overnighter next time though.

Huge has some pics im sure he will post soon.

I rate it 7 /10 ....... would go there for trails over blackduck ...but agree with others ....Manar Park needs to tidy up the mx tracks

only took me 4 hours even with the big trailer (witch way did you go?)
we went the brisbane valley hwy to kingaroy
