Picked up a 2007 Outlander 400 (carby version) last weekend. Did 8k's around the block and stuffed one of the rear tyres (bit old and perished), so a new set of Dirtdevils went on the back today...27 x 12 x 12"

This weekend will be the first chance to take it for a decent spin Very Happy

Next week (or so), I will be going through the whole bike, servicing (eng/diffs etc) and doing a change out of the one way bearing in the primary drive. The gear shifting is a little stiff at times. I checked out a Can Am forum and there is mention of the one way affecting the smoothness of the shifting. Apparently it should be regreased every 100hrs.

Further down the track will be skid plates, side rails and probably a rear seat/storage box.....but the tyres were a big enough hit for this week!

Just sold my 400 last week a great bike
I also searched the Canam forums when I first bought it and ended up doing the frame mod by shoving 3 bits of approx 32mm x 32mm square aluminium tube up the frame approx 1300mm long to make it rigid.
I still have the Ricochet Bash plates that I purchased from Austraco that I am keen to sell still in its original wrapping

Cheers Mike
