Hi Riders!
We are planning a trip to Little and Big Desert. We are located in Victoria, Looking at buying a KFX450 for the trip. I am coming across many hesitations as to what i need to do to be able to ride in that area... Do i have to register or what would i need to do so i dont get into trouble?

All riding in Victoria is illegal, we are the Nanny state. Even registered quads are really only valid on farms or within 25km of rego'd address. Basically you're screwed if you let the law get in the way. Have fun anyway. Wink

This is true. I have been riding not far from home in 2 state forests since september and never come across any trouble. Dont dig up the tracks and should be fine. The winch on the quad comes in handy. I have had a chat to a ranger that we met along the way and he said it was fine because i said i was using the quad to clear trees from the tracks. He thought it was a great idea. Had the jeep in tow. Many a video to be seen on my youtube channel - smadanoed - Subscribe and see how many times i go out and never get trouble!
