Hi Guys
This thread will be used to let you know when the next Hervey Bay Club race will be. The club has been long supporters of ATV racing, so it would be good to get the numbers back up to what they use to be. The club is full of friendly people who will help out any way they can.

The first round of the Hervey Bay Club Day series was held on Sunday the 5th of February. We had a turn out of four quads: Barry, Glenn, Cameron and Myself. Barry ended up with the overall win, as I had a DNF in the first race due to battery issues. Thanks to the guys that turned up and of course the club for running the event.
Race 1:
1st Barry, 2nd Glen, 3rd Cameron, DNF Josh
Race 2:
1st Josh, 2nd Barry, 3rd Glen, 4th Cameron
Race 3:
1st Josh, 2nd Barry, 3rd Glen, 4th Cameron
I had the GOPRO strapped to my helmet for the races, so I should have a couple of videos up in the near future.
The next race meet is the 4th of March. Unfortunately I wont be there though. Hope a few more can make it.

Just a reminder that there is a club day this Sunday at Hervey Bay. Unfortunately I will not make it. But it would be great to have a few new faces along to boost numbers.

Don't forget the Hervey Bay Club day is THIS SUNDAY! I know a lot of you travelled to enjoy a great weekend at Manar Park over the long weekend just gone, but it would be great to see a few more at Hervey Bay this Sunday. At the moment we have the following numbers:

Glenn Cruikshank
Barry Gilbert
and apparently Bazz has a few other coming along.... if so, that will be great.

If anyone was thinking about coming on Sunday, please get in touch with me before you do. At this stage everyone else has pulled out, so there wont be a quad class.
Unfortunately our sport will cease to exist, or be even more limited than it already is, in QLD after this year..... |

Next year should be better as a number of our juniors turn 16 and will fill the senior ranks up to make up more in the quad class.

Hopefully that is the case and numbers do pick up more next year. The only problem I see is that once a club stops getting numbers a quad class and drops the class from their program all together, getting it back on there will be extremely difficult. But we will just have to wait and see.

Coolum have said that they will have us at their club days if once again we could guarantee numbers.

The club day was yesterday and I still took my bike along. Not sure if it was a good or a bad thing though. They let me have a run around the newly redesigned track which is going to be awesome come MX Nationals in a few weeks. But, somehow I managed to have a little spill..... haha.. All in good fun though. Here is the GOPRO footage of the new track design and the crash.

| Just to let you know that the club is hoping to hold a practice day at some stage during June. This will be an excellent opportunity for some ride time, and get on a brand new Australian Mx Nationals Track! |

The next Hervey Bay Club Day is on Sunday the 15th of July. All things go to plan, I will be there as per usual, but we MUST get some more numbers to the club days so that a class can run.
