howdy everyone
just sold my warrior and am thinking of either getting a yfz or a 700 raptor what i am wondering is how often do these need rebuild, am i right in thinking a yfz would need rebuilding more due to being mx style?? i have my eyes on a 2008 yfz due to it's in my budget range. also what type of hours would be high for this model?
i mainly do dune and little bit of trail riding
cheers kenny _________________ 2002 yamaha warrior(sold)

I'm not sure as I've only ridden a yfz once..
I prefer the raptors because they are a lot comfier (for me)
If your ever on the west coast your welcome to take mine for a spin to have a feel of how they ride |

| Its really just personal preferance i guess and what u like i had s warrior i only sold mine cos wanted more power lol i looked at yfz s raptors and ltrs i wanted a yfz but all the second hand ones i looked at were knocked around and they are expensive new ! So the ltr it was ! Raptors sit fairly high but they go hard too ! |

Looks like a few of us started out on warriors,
Personally for the type of riding you say you will be doing i would go for the raptor
I have had both a yfz 450 and ltr450 and as much as they are fun they do require more up keep and for down the west ect you cannot beat the low down torque of a 700 in the dunes ect
Have you considered the 700xx at all? with a few simple mods imho they are ideal for down the west and rough trails as with the independent rear end the have loads more clearance, |

What about a polaris ? They would go pretty hard with the ktm engine surely ? I like the trx 450 they do up nice like doel said raptors pull hard in the dunes and i seen a few nice grey and red ones on gumtree . I like dark bikes id love to put black plastics and rims on my bike |
