Hey guys i was givin new grips from a mate for my 7/8 bars...got home pulled out the Stanley sliced of my old rubber ones came to put in the new ones and fracken for a twist throttle Sad so now I'm stuck with one grip hanging out doing nothing ...I tried like 2 rolls of plumbers tape to thicken it up but you guys already know what happend lol soo what should I do to make it snug and not twist round ? And the lesson... dont cut off the old grips.
I use two screwdrivers perpendicular to the handle bar, one on top one underneath and use them like handles to pull the grip off the end of the bars.

or compressed air down the grip gets anything of and leaves it clean to

If you want good cheap comfy grips.
Go to your local BMX/Bicycle/MTB/scooter shop and get some "Hoffeman" style grips. You can get them of EBay as-well.
They cost half the price of ATV/Jetski ones and last way longer.
They also come in some awesome colours...
I still tie wire mine on just in-case.

check out some Jet Black Pro MTB grips from your local mountain bike store, so comfy, although they are long so if you have a block for light stwitches etc. they probably wont fit

yeah the jet black pro are quality with locks on each end of the grip which are tightened with allen head bolts.
These go on and take off easy and once tightened don't move.
