After some info of some sort of private property accident cover.I saw a form on the QRCV website but can no longer find it on their new site.
I went to my nearest rta and asked , but the sheila behind the counter had no idea. She actually said why don't i just take out rec reg, then bundled up some forms and shoved me out the door.
Any info appreciated and what does it cover
Wonder what happen if i filled out the forms and sent em in? _________________ I am old and wise because i survived young and stupid |

good luck is all I can say, but give the rec reg a go but make sure you go and see her again and who knows you just might get away with it... and if you do make sure you tell us all lol. The TAC is a real pain, the vicroads people just couldnt be bothered trying to work it out, here in Geelong anyway I just gave up on it and went another path. But definetly give the rec reg thing ago. _________________ 2005 KFX700

| As Yogie said it will depend on where you go. I have had my TAC cover through Frankston and have never had a problem in 4 years. When you take it out make sure you ask for a yearly renewal to be sent out and you will never have to bother agian unless you change address or ATV. They are $53.90 0 and cover you for quite a bit if you are on private property. Very handy if you are self employed and have no sick leave. They are called Non Registered Vehicle Transport Accident Cover or if you go to a country VicRoads they are known as the old TAC 85 Form. I have one if you would like me to send you a copy. You can then take that in with you as an example. |

If it works then it is better than just the un reg TAC cover as it will cover you on public lad as well. Good luck, let us know if you get it done and I'll be right along to get mine done. _________________

Hey, can you let me know the form numbers if any? I will go to Vic roads and try as well - which branch did you go to? can you tell us?
I am sure in the forms it will ask you if it is used as a primary producer or if you are a local council etc? anyhow let us know I will go and check the forms as well.
