great stuff Jb and even greater stuff for the little one, its something she'll (and you) will never forget, thank you for sharing this with us all, and our sport is in great hands when we all get to old. 10/10 I'm thinking we need to arrange a weekend just for the kids ????? _________________ 2005 KFX700

That is a great story - I am glad it all went well. Those little 90's are a great quad as I bought one for my young bloke. I was surprised at how they handled and how it could drag my fat ass around.

Thought I'd dust the cobwebs off this thread. Went out to Inverloch to visit my mate who went halves in a share farming venture. A nice setup just out of town. Took my daughter out & the Raptor 90. Jess hasn't been on her bike since her 1st outting & a few hot laps around the yard which involves doing circles around a trampoline...Anyhoot we got out there & after a look around i got a brute force handed to me & we all went to take a tour of the place, nice 4km loop but it seems jess hadn't forgotten anything from last time, even got hassled to undo the throttle screw. Once again she was off, couldn't help but have a giggle when she got a bad case of thumb pump. Gave me a few heart stopping moments with the drifting but she had it figured out & i reckon alot more riding is on the cards as she was asking me when we were going out. Funny thing all i wanted to do was go fox shooting but seeing her smile from ear to ear, well the rifle didnt even get to see dayight _________________ 04 TRX 450r

Great to hear Jess's doing so well with it Josh!
Does she by any chance watch lots of quad vids with you???
A couple of my relos have learning difficulties (dyslexia, ASD/aspergers, SPD) and watching pro's do it is the way they learned best. My little bro used to watch hours and hours of golf on tv, and the very first time mum & dad took him to the local golf course, people kept asking who they'd hired to coach him because he had the most perfect natural swing they'd ever seen. And likewise when he discovered quads, he watched the pro racing for hours every day, and then the first time he got on the bike it was as if he'd been doing it for years And this was a kid who as a toddler we were told would have lifelong co-ordination issues, as he didn't have the natural reflex of putting his hands out when he tripped. He didn't even learn to read until high school. He's all grown up now and no one would ever suspect he ever had any issues at all. _________________ (PeteW's missus)

Nice real nice.Next is the first get off.But I bet you will handle that. They can be good learning curves that normally are good thing in early days.Best get back on straight away and refer to it but make little of it.

I took my little one riding on monday past, to get her ready for the TP300 and was showing her how to get "some air" over a little jump, well bless her socks if she didnt get air and forget to slow down, heading for a fence, mind you she dodged a big rock and two pot hole just to hit the bloody thing, great site, and then its "my fault" because i didnt yell out put the brakes on.
and the bike was okay, but she broke her ego, and is healing nicly... _________________ 2005 KFX700

You showed her how to get air?? I reckon the only time the kwacka would have been off the ground was when it first got lifted off the ship. or when dangerman rode it. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

Cheers guys, Little miss did do a number on me when we get home, got everything unloaded & when i got the pressure washer out to wash the bike & i said "Hey Jessie come & help me wash your bike, cleanup is part of riding so if you dont look after your gear you won't ride"....her response "Dad your so good @ washing cars & bikes so I'm going to let you do it"....turned around & went inside to have a shower...lol...well i sucked it up, got the job done. Once I was finished Jess came up & asked "Is Raptor clean?, because if its not spotless you will have to do it all over again"....I smiled & said..."your pushin it kiddo " _________________ 04 TRX 450r
