 |
|
ITEM:
2009 YFZ450R
CONDITION:
Great!
REASON FOR SELLING:
Moved from 15 Acres to a 1 Acre block and have no where local to ride it anymore.
PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS:
Sold.
EXTRA INFO:
2009 YAMAHA YFZ450R.
This bike has been my pride and joy since I got it. I bought the 2009 R model for it's long-travel reservoir shocks, MX width A-Arms and wide rear end. I found the aluminium/steel hybrid frame attractive, light and nimble to ride. Add to that, an already amazing design and all new for 2009 was the YFI (Yamaha Fuel Injection) which gave the bike a much smoother and more useable power curve than previous models. Pro Taper bars are also factory-standard on the 2009 model.
From factory-standard I have added a Pro Circuit full exhuast (cost me $1100), Power Commander 5 (cost me $400), K&N air filter (cost me$65), Lone Star +2" steer tube with anti-vibe clamp (cost me $350), Trail Tech Vapour computer (cost me $130) and a set of generic bark-busters (cost me $110), all installed by Yamaha. Also included is a 400 page workshop manual.
Quad has been well maintained and serviced. Valves checked at 40 and 80 Hours. Washed after every ride. New oil and oil filter every 10 hours. Bike has a genuine 84 Hours and I usually ride for 3 hours at a time. The bike has never been raced. Always garaged and covered. Selling due to not really having anywhere to ride it anymore. I just moved from 15 Acres to a 1 Acre block of land and don't have room to swing a cat, so to speak..
I have put brand new front and rear sprockets (cost me $65), brand new chain (cost me $130), brand new K&N air filter (cost me $65), brand new spark plug (cost me $15) and a brand new battery (cost me $90) in the bike to appeal to the purchaser.
The Bad: Bike could do with a new set of tires and handlebar grips. Has minor scratches on plastics and paint wear in the common-known places from my boots rubbing when I ride. Paint also worn under lower A-Arms too. Light surface rust on Exhaust.

Wow.. That sucks. I'll keep trying. It's on Gumtree's website with 10 pictures and eBay with 12 pitctures if you want to see it there too.
Thanks for the reply _________________ There is no replacement for displacement.
