i agree mick, what punters can do if they have an opinion is contact their state rep and inform them of what they think is needed.
although this forum is good for discussing issues, if you want something changed it has to go thru the proper channels.

you also mentioned chinese quads, up here in qld most mx clubs wont allow anything not made by the major manufacturers on the track. mainly because if they break in half over a jump they could argue that the jump was not safe etc etc and sue the club. therefore, alot of clubs are not allowing these bikes on the track (right or wrong). you cant fart up here without signing a form first.

such narrow mindedness. i've seen good and bad chinese product and taiwanese too for that matter. i've also seen broken frames and cracked engine cases on japanese bikes too. how many yfz subframes have had to be repaired/replaced. how many banshee swing arms have been straightened/gusseted. what was that problem with the ltr when it was first released. the list goes on
