Well while these rally tracks are on mixed surfaces I have a ultimate on mixed surface tyres for you. 8ply GMC Grim Reapers in 12" and 14" rim size.
They have a stiffer sidewall so that you can inflate them faily well and get good bituman traction and then adjust for compact dirt roads and if you ever get any loose stuff you'll be fine.
Won the Baja 500 and 1000 the year of their release so they are the ducks guts.
If you need them get your order in quick in case we need to stock from OS. _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

[quote="bullet"]I'm guessing that will be the case.
Can-Am and Polaris have put a huge budget into sponsoring the series and getting the SxS class started.
How much of this has anyone competing seen so far?

Nothing as far as i'm aware, but these 2 manufacturers have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on sponsoring the series (paid to the event) and basically paid for and organised the structure of the class to be there.
As well as countless hours negotiating and organising the class with CAMS. _________________ Can-Am X Team

Polaris and Can-Am are both trying to make it as easy as possible for Competitors.
They are doing all the class setting up and CAMS negotiations etc.
Basically they have secured the event class, so that when anyone turns up to race you are not treated like an outcast that really does not fit. You'll have a right to be there because these manufacturers have paid for and set up the class.
On an individual competitor basis, both manufacturers are offering that customers can use there local engineering companies and pay for another CAMS cage 'off the production line'. Obviously when you attack these things, the first one costs a heap and suffers all the headaches. After that the local engineers can just keep punching out cages that they know are full CAMS spec. So the R+D is done and paid for, and customers can just pay for reproductions that would likely take less than half the time. Of course people are free to build their own, but if you don't have the expertise in-house, it might pay not to reinvent the wheel.
Technically, the cage specs were always going to be the biggest hurdle, but I think they are nearly done.
Apart from that and the other CAMS essentials... extinguisher, harnesses etc...
The SSV's are very standard, which reduces the amount of attention required before race day as well.
Now... does anyone know what 'pace notes' are _________________ Can-Am X Team

That would be nice... but unfortunately, the first time I get to sit in my car will be at the race.
We'll still have a few bits to bolt on before scruitineering on the day _________________ Can-Am X Team
