Hi All

As you are all aware, it is fairly certain that a Pro ATV Class is going to be held in conjunction with 2 of the Rockstar MX Nationals rounds, and a final round in conjunction with the 2012 Australian ATV Mx Championships. These series is scheduled as follows:

round 1 at Coonabarabran in NSW on April 15
round 2 at AJS WA on May 13
round 3 at Maffra Vic (Quad Nats) on Oct 13 & 14

Everyone is aware that the history of Australian ATV MX has been dominated mainly by the Southern and Western States, and that may not chance, but we will nevere know unless we can get some Queenslander there in the thick of it. Myself and a few fellow Queensland Riders are Extremely Interested in attending all 3 rounds and try and do our state proud, but in order to do so, it is going to take a lot of financial support.

If you, someone you know, or a company you work for, may be able to help out please get in touch and let me know. This can range from cash donations, fuel vouchers, help with freight and shipping, or some small products to include in a raffle. This is the time we have to think outside the square in order to give ourselves the best chance of attending this event.

I am not asking for everyone to forget about everyone else though either, as there are plenty of great riders and supports of our loved sport here in Australia. However being involved in the Rockstar Mx Nationals is an excellent opportunity for our sport and should be grabbed with both hands. As this initial investment into a series that is such a good opportunity will contribute massively towards the growth and future of our sport.

Please PM if you can help in any way, or have any ideas that my help.

If there are any other QLD Riders Interested in racing this series, please let me know.

For 2012 I again have the support of Bundaberg / Hervey Bay Can-Am, which is great. But unfortunately it is going to take a lot more support in order to race this series.

How has the start to everyone's 2012 been? Who is planning to race what?

I am still trying to drum together enough support to be at least 1 Queensland representing our state at the 2012 ATV MX Nationals Pro series. I know there are others interested. Please, if you, your business or someone you know can help out. Please get in touch. Unfortunately I know it is tough times, but this is an excellent opportunity for our sport to grow.

Considering this is the biggest thing to happen to quad racing in Aus for a long time there doesn't seem to be much hype around it. Hopefully we don't have a repeat of 2006 where quads were dumped from another major series announcement.

JB, I think there is going to be enough support for the class. From WA there is 4 doing the hole series, but for the WA round they will have a lot more riding. And there are a few from NSW, VIC and SA. It would just be good to have a few QLD'ers in the mix.

Im keen and starting to get everything sorted.
Trying to share costs with a couple of mates racing Lites and U19's.
Anyone wanting to convoy with us to Coonabarabran welcome to come. Would be good to get a couple of Qlder's to it.
