Hi Anyone got a 35mm x 1.5 thread flywheel puller they can sell or lend me ?
I am in Boronia Melbourne, need asap to remove the fly wheel on a Yamaha big bear 350

Any trick I can use to to remove it, would also be a great help.
thanks

Spray the splines with a good penetrating fluid, repeatedly.
You can hire various pullers from repco and the like....

I have sprayed with a few different penetrating oils , and have a big 3 prong gear puller on it , but it has not budged .
Dont want to hit it and cause any damage, but seems hard to pop, it has so much pressure on it I am actually nervous about something breaking.
Seems ridiculous how hard this flywheel is on , i might try some spray freeze .

But could really use that tool that screws on . if anyone has one
I am getting frustrated with this now i have to wait a week to order one.

I have been spraying it for the last 3 days and must have 2 ton on pressure on the thing so much so i snapped one of the gear puller arms, I welded it back together and put it back to work.

Question ... the hex head screws inside the fly wheel do they need to be removed ???
I was under the impression they hold in a clutch plate behind the fly wheel and can stay in but I am wondering now if maybe they need to come out for this flywheel to come off this bike, I dont know how its staying in there if theres nothing holding it but a bit of friction on the shaft .

I have been quoted $69 for the 35mm x 1.5 Flywheel puller tool from Peter Stevens but I cant rationalise paying that much for something I will likley only use once.

Its so frustrating, I have all these new parts that i have waited weeks to arrive from the US , I have a few more days off work before i go back without even getting a ride because i cant pull the dam thing apart.
