Hello everyone. I bought a Razor 250 quad a few months ago and just started riding it recently. Its a jap peice of crap i know. Its slow as all hell but is still fun to ride. Gotta start out slow since i dont have much riding experience. I dont know many places to ride around adelaide but Pt Gawler seems to be a good spot to learn the ropes for now. I dont have alot in the way of saftey gear apart from a helmet.

I read somewhere that the cheap jap quads (and or) Bikes are a bad choice to start out on because they are easily broken and run like sh**. But dont worry, will not be deterred by my quad. I plan on smashing it out like a bat out of hell in time Razz Eventually ill upgrade to something better. Any suggestions on upgrades and good places for beginners like me to ride would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Welcome Spearsy , I ride at Pt Gawler sometimes but I mainly ride up at Sedan.
My son has a little 250 Chinese quad which he enjoys riding , I've just got to gear it up a bit more for him to give it more top speed.
My Raptor seems to scare him a bit Rolls eyes

welcome bloke, a good quad would be the 400 honda, 400 suzi or the 450 yammie, all great trail bikes and parts are plentyful and sort of cheapish now adays. Very Happy

I was going to go but after all the rain we had on Sat night I thought the track would be under water and would be better suited for a jet ski laughing

Was looking forward to going last weekend but yeah.., that rain screwed it right up. While the rain was around i had time to experiment.. Im trying to fit the muffler from my bike to my quad but i need a reducer from 32od to 28od. Does anyone make these as standard? i could make one myself on my lathe but would take too long and would rather just buy one that would look alot cleaner
