Hey Yogie, i am told that all good things come to those who wait, not sure how long that is though, although i have been assured that a silver one is to be mine in december, as i dont want a yellow one

what did henry ford once say, you can have any colur as long as its black, maybe ford and canam are owned by the same company...

A little birdie told me that my new 2012 Can-Am Outlander xt 1000cc in Magnesium Mettalic wil be available very soon to be picked up at Colac Motorcycles.
And i do have to say , that dave and his team would have to be the most patient and tolerable Dealer in the country , Dave and his team have gone overboard to help me gain my new quad, and i can't thank him enough.

I've ridden the New 1000 outlander at a Can am trial day its an animal all it wanted to do was kill me !!!!! Its still a better ride than the wife though lol

Well it is official , i am now the proud owner of a 2012 Can Am Outlander xt 1000 in Magnesium Mettalic, thanks to David Wade from Colac motorcycles who has made it possible to obtain this machine for me , also a big thanks to Dave and his crew who worked tirelessly to put it together on friday after work , as the bike did not arrive at his workshop until after 6.00pm,
Thanks guys for all the hard work , and especially to Dave as he has gone over and above with this machine, due to transport and sometiimes the lack of transport from so called express freight forwarders

well i guess you can tow yourself outa the mud now.....
i dont understand why they only have 82hp from 1000cc,
but in saying that, the belt wouldnt tolerate 160hp, like the other 1000cc
motors on the market, so longevity is a concern for the designers.
lucky i havent purchased a engine for my black raptor yet,
i feel a MA rule change coming soon.

Got to say this machine is amazing , the wow factor is still there even after a few hours of getting of it , it has so much more torque than the 800

Hey Yogie , i think i might have to get those gloves that attach to the handle bars , then put my hands in them with a heap of velcro, if anyone gets the chance to ride one of these machines be prepared to pull out the cheque book , cos im sure you will want to buy one , they are bloody amazing, heaps of grunt enough to bloody near pull the bend out of a river, the more i ride iot the more i like it ,, but i hope wadey has a good supply of rear tyres , as i think it will be seeing some of those over the coming months

Stick it in 4x4 Barn. It will help convert some of that rear tyre wear to ripping out of the arms.
Arms grow back by themselves, but you have to buy tyres.

Nice rig mate i can't wait to get my hands on the 1000cc version XMR but it's not due until next year. Have you had any problems with burning up your belt? mines pretty temperamental and has to nursed a bit which is a bit annoying when you spend so much on your qaud. I'm buying a Dalton DBO 880M mud runner clutch kit for it to hopefully relieve this problem.
