The Hero2 will take 10 x 11mp photos per second, great for series shots.
It also has 90, 127 & 170deg field of view angles.
Plus it will do up to 120 frames per second, awesome for slow-mo stuff. |

The new Gopro has an in between lens angle (127 degrees), which would be awesome! sometimes when you put the Hd on wide angle (170 degrees), the size of jumps and bumps is warped and when you watch it back, it just doesn't seem right. And when you put it back on standard (90 degrees) there's not a great enough angle to see everything.
That's the thing I would see that's best in the new HD2.
it's all here:
http://gopro.com/product-comparison-hd-hero2-hd-hero-cameras/
It's also a bit clearer and has a better settings display.
Definitely I suggest the new one, but either of them with a handlebar mount so you can through it on someone else's bike or whatever, and the LCD back would be great. The LCD back you can through on to set up your shot, pop it off close the back up and you have a guaranteed good shot. |

They are about $400 on eBay in oz and the previous model is coming down in price pretty quick. _________________ 660R mine
