As far as I know mine is the only specialist aftermarket parts and there isn't a market yet to stock parts for any model yet in Australia. Hope is that racing will make it worthwhile in the long run.

But I still have the agreements into Pro-armor, Highlifter etc

Thanks guys. Unfortunately while the parts prices are way cheaper O/S, the freight costs for some of the larger parts can be double the cost of the actual part. Just bought the Pro Armor harness bar and two five point harnesses for half the local cost including freight but the roof is going to be over a grand whether I buy it here or over there even though the actual roof is half the cost from the U.S.

True thats why you buy with someone who is able to buy part space in containers if you can afford the wait, or else its worth getting one fabricated in most instances.

Freight is killing off anything too cheap but large or expensive and large. The only thing making money now is getting in stuff that is small but expensive.

Hardiman atv can get parts aswell. He know has suppliers for most parts and accessories.
I have seen some trick parts the last few days and his freight deals from the usa are cheap.

Give him a call to see what you may want

Will do in future Mick, always willing to give the local guys my money. Unfortunately I purchased all items yesterday bar the roof, which I am still waiting on a price for shipping.

Very hard to pass up deals like this though for four alloy wheels delivered when my local supplier is quoting more for just the one steel stock rim

4/137 STI HD2 Alloy Wheel 12x7 5.0 + 2.0 Gloss Black - 2011 Can-Am Commander 800R (Front/Rear) 1332960019 $64.99 4 $259.96

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Subtotal:$259.96
Tax: $0.00
Shipping:$65.00
Disposal: $0.00
Gift Wrapping: $0.00
Total: $324.96
Gift Card: $0.00
Cash Rewards: $0.00
Total Due: $324.96

Hey Foss, nice looking wheels!! How are you progressing with parts? Are you happy with the CA AM. They look pretty comfy, I have yet to see one in the flesh.
Cheers Foxn

Hey Fox'n, long time. Most of the parts have arrived and have been fitted. I am still waiting on the roof though. I will whack some pics up when I get the roof on. The Commander has the best of both worlds. Plenty of comfort and room in the cab and the ride is smooth as, and I can still keep up with the other guys on quads when we go out. I still ride the rappy but the big banana will be the long term ride now especially when we head back down to Vic to live on the block.

Its the start of a series being worked on by Can-am and Polaris for some time now. Go to www.rally.com.au and click on "events" and "rally calder". All details, sups and regs should be available soon and I imagine formal announcements will then be made.

Absolutely excellent work to get in as part of the ARC. Fabulous news and something that is able to be shouted from the hilltops world wide.

Especially as there is a move on in the states to start up a "International" SXS rule book, regulating committee etc to whit I replied to this self appointed board of quite heavyweight aftermarket manufacturers unless they had the backing and the control of what the manufacturers were producing they had nothing.

So I'll be glad to show them that in 3 years weve taken it to a higher/ as high a level of racing than they have been able to in the US.

Well done again. Hopefully some more good news this month.
