Like the title says... is there anywhere in OZ that sells decent mud tyres for 4x4 quads..
Im after 27-28's (really want 28's) something along the line of Mudzillas, the new terminators (google these suckers, they are cool), interco vampires or something similar.. Im not too keen on the ITP XTR's but if i cant find anything decent then thats my only option
have emailed LOTs of places in the US and very little seem to ship here..
thanks guys

Gidday Ray, Grizz 700 brought some Maxxis bighorns pretty cheap from Qld, he upsized tryes to give him a bit more lift and they are also a bit wider too than the ones that came out on the Grizz, I think they cost him $550 delivered to Tassie
I will contact him to give you the details of where abouts he brought them
Cheers Nigel... _________________ Get down and dirty... |

No worries mate.
BLOODY HELL.
They are the most aggressive tyres I have ever seen.
Cannot wait to see how they look under the MIGHTY GRIZZLY.

Well my Gorillas turned up today.. but the wrong rims turned up.. they were supposed to be bead locks... they sent fake locks grrr.........
any way... took em for a run and boy do these puppies dig! im a bit worried they dig too much tho! most of the mud here doesnt have a bottom... which is what these tyres look for!
seems as soon as u hit a soft spot they just start digging a tunnel to china!
I also had a pucker factor moment.. i was riding round in the local lake (its pretty firm bottom but does have some soft spots), and I accidently found a deep bit.. the deep bit also just had mud at the bottom... so the backs started to dig didnt they.... it went down to the seat... so i tried to reverse out... that put it over the seat.. so i locked the diff lock in, and that put it over the air box.... (i was a bit nervous as I havent really tested my snork yet to make sure its sealed... so i jumped off and gave it a small amount of throttle and it popped straight up out of the mud... it was very close to floating.... those fats on the front helped i think....
I will have more to report on once the rains really get here and i have some real mud to play in!
