 |
|
Hey guys first post here and also new to quads have my suzuki king quad 750 about 6 months now, and last week i ran into my first "Break"
there are 2 rubber CV Boot looking things on a shaft that goes between the motor and the back diff and i just notice yesterday that one has torn off, I was wondering if anyone could give me a guide on how to replace the boot? Ill upload a photo of the issue.
Any help would be appreciated just need a rough guide and i will use my service manual to hopfully help aswell.
As you can see the closest boot on the shaft is gone almost completely. |

that hard part will be getting the shaft out, after that it is just a simple matter of pulling the joint apart and fitting the new boot.... some CV joints come apart with a clip just inside the main housing and others need to be driven off as they have a clip at the end of the drive shaft inside the CV. _________________
