Just wanted to congratulate all the riders who raced at the MX Nationals. It was a fantastic effort for those who rode and you all put on a fantastic display.
Congrats to Ryan, Luke and Mitch on their podium finish.
I have had a lot of enquiries regarding the riders by manufacturers, press and other 2 wheel riders which is fantastic for our sport.
Look out for Dirt Comp magazine for a full page spread in the near future and I will try to find out when it will be on foxtel.
WEM was more than happy with the Quads and fingers crossed we will be making the MX Nationals next year for some more racing.
Hope Josh is ok, Todd is not too tired ( ha ha ) and Craig is good too.
Once again congratulations to you all. This event was a huge success and good luck to all the riders who may make it onto manufacture teams.
Well done guys.
cheers
Trudy |

Hey Trud, thanks for all your work getting this event to happen. Yes, I am ok, I was just a bit sore for a couple of days. But all good now and hope that something like this, or bigger, gets off the ground next year.
P.S I really hope someone got footage of that crash! |

Would be interesting to hear what Kevin Williams thought of the quads.
Quads damaging the track hey? Well if they damage the track....2 wheelers destroy the track _________________ Team Ironpot 701 Just Doin It

It would be interesting to know who was surveyed to determine the general consensus? Was it the promoter, the 2-wheel riders, the spectators or just the author's personal opinion?
At the end of the day it will be the promoter who makes the call as it's his $$$ on the line to make the event successful. If he thinks having a pro quad class will increase his takings then he will have a class for them, if he will lose money from it then he won't. _________________ Proud Member of QuadridersSA

your right holeshot
i believe the promotor was very happy, and the crowd would of been happier.
to many people i speak to find that just going to watch mx or sx boring as hell, thats why WEM wants quads there, to please the crowds mix it up a bit. and get new spectators at the races.
rider entries pay for the event, spectators make the event profitable
anyone know when it will be televised? _________________ 2012 sponsors, Working on it. |
