Gday guys,
I am in need of some advice from the experienced. I have recently purchased a farm and need a quad. Main uses will be rounding up the cattle, spraying, maybe some spreading and towing a small trailer.
It needs to have 4WD as there is some mud and gullies as well as some steep stuff out the back.
I was keen on the honda as thats what all the other farmers around here use(there must be a reason). The local guy in town stocks the suzuki and currently has a deal on it for $8700 and i was thinking this is an alright deal.
I havnt priced the Honda yet.
Benefits of the suzuki is that there is a dealer in town(15 minutes) opposed to honda guy which is 70km away.
Has anyone had experience with either of these two models. Are suzukis reliable?
Im not too up on the specs of the two models and really don't know on paper what looks better or more reliable.
cheers

I think either of these machines will do what you need, you say all the farmers around your area have Hondas.... reckon there might be a reason for that...
Having said that, I am biased toward Honda, my older Honda 350ES does not let me down.
glad you have not fallen for the cheap Chinese quads, they are cheap for a reason....
whatever you buy, dont forget the helmet. |

HI Jon welcome
I'm a dairy farmer and have both these quads. The Zook is the best value for money as the Hondas are a little over priced, but in saying that the Honda is the better bike. Things like plastics racks and brakes are crap on the Zook and fall apart quickly although the Hondas arnt built like they used to be.
The engine and drive lines on both bikes are rock solid _________________ Smitty |

Thanks for the replies.
I'll price up the honda from the dealer and if its within a $1000 or so I'll go with it. Will be worth it with the resale i guess. |
