Looking at getting the girls a new neck brace for next season when they step up to 90. What are people's thoughts? I'm currently leaning toward the Leatt GPX Club 2.... _________________ If you're not having fun, it's not worth doing

yes unfortunately its not cheap, even with the us being a little less expensive, my advice ius to think of the cost of not having the protection ie. years of constructive surgery, physiotherapy, the cost on a family etc etc, sorry for the downer but im a realist |

yep I totally understand about the cost of protection. I am a nurse and have worked in ICU, so I have seen lots of injuries due to people not wearing the correct gear. If looked after properly the braces should last for a few years at least I reckon. Apart from upping to 90s next year the only equipment we need is the neck braces unless their feet grow. I've bought most of their gear a little big so it will last for at least a couple of seasons. _________________ If you're not having fun, it's not worth doing

I have a Leatt neck brace and highly recommend them, but for kids I think the Omega brace is worth looking at. It has a lot of adjustability so you can keep a good fit as the kids grow. _________________ Cheers,

I use a leatt adventure, its the cheapest leatt out there and its paid for itself over the last year, had a few occasions where I would have had a broken neck if it wasn't for the leatt i reckon.
Highly recommended, for me its as important as a helmet |

just checked them out on the Leatt Website and they do look good and are about $100 cheaper than the GPX Club 2 but dont appear to be as adjustable _________________ If you're not having fun, it's not worth doing
