Hi everyone,

Just been looking at the precision bar clamps lately and I was wondering if anyone is using them, and how good they are.

If anyone has used flexx bars aswell i would like to know how they compare.

Thanks,
Mitch

They work great but you cant run flexx bars with them.

I tested them for the first time at the Hyden 300 on my 700 XX Worked extremely well. I cannot say whether it was a coincidence or not but it was the first race that I never got arm pump at all.

Flexx bars work from side to side, and up and down together so that they act as extra suspension for your upper body.
The Precision bar clamps can only rock from side to side. They work very well, but both sides can not move down together on big impacts.

I have been using them and am extremely happy, but haven't ridden Flexx bars for any decent time before to compare directly. I like that your hands stay relative to each other the whole time (unlike Flexx where your hands can move up and down independent of each other) and I don't get any noticeable vibration through the bars as there is no metal to metal connection between the bars and the stem.

In our first 3hr enduro without these I could barely hang on due to vibration and my hands ripped up, second enduro on the same track with these fitted no vibration and no blisters.

Flexx are probably better at absorbing big bottom outs etc from heavy landings though as they have more movement.

I find that they reduce vibration more than Flexx bars do, they do have some direct up and down movement, just not as much as what a flexx does.
