G'day mate.

Have a look on the below website.

Shooters.com.au

Look under "Hunting" then
"Atv Accessories" and then under
"Atv Cargo Bags & Boxes".

I bought the:
Plano Rear Mount Atv Storage Box $225.38
(Product number 196360)
On page three the last one on there.

The postage was really cheap also.

Mate the box works really well for me. I have mine mounted on a Grizzly 700. Really easy to take on and off which is great when you have to clean the bike and the box. I just hose it inside and out to clean it. I have two 5 litre fuels tanks in either side of the box plus a heap of other gear. Heaps of room in these boxes and they stay dry.

By the way how did you go with the tyres? Did you give Craig a call?

Cheers

thanks grizzly
I found a online shop that can send me one for postage price of $135
im stoked, this unit will be great
http://www.motorhelmets.com/htm-luggage/quadboss/2011-05/quadboss-luggage-atv-trunks-weekender.htm

also bought new set of ss212 with maxxis bighorn 2.0 from rocky mountain atv

Too expensive here in australia as the australian wholesalers and shop importers want 100% mark ups on there products when we can get them for the same price by doing it ourselves

did you get prices from the Australian importers (me, austraco) of the wheels and tyres?

i hope people understand that we can’t compete on price for everything we are not a charity service we need to make a living also, importers that rely on parts sales do have over head costs and also get charged other fees that the end user doesn't see. This is why our costs are normally higher than the advertised price in the USA once you add freight onto the price from the USA it is about the same or less.

some of the retailers in the USA offer ridiculous freight deals and often lose money or only make 10%. what is the point?

if you get a price from the USA why not ask if we can do better to keep the business in Australia?

you have to make a living
and
I have to provide food house clothes etc for my family, i care about you!

the same could be said for you trying to take sales away from the local guys here in perth
so if im going to look after any1 - ile look aftyer perth - you know what i say is true so whos being greedy now

why dont you make wheels and tyres yourself and if you have something that the usa dont have then you have a market, if they go through the torture of designing and outlaying funds for there ideas, then why should we buy of some1 trying to make money of there hard earn money and time

thanks USA Smile

they do have their own brand, its called fury !!!!!

Look I buy stuff from the yanks and I buy local also myself, but I could never see any savings buying tyres and wheels OS, when they are here already, and if you get a dodgy one you have to send it back to get it replaced or fixed, but thats my opinion.

And I will state my interst here and now, Andrew is a freind of mine and I am customer of his but all that aside I've bought stuff from WA also Rolls eyes but while some Aust quad part companys will come and go, there will be a need in aus to have them here. So buy from OS, because I will continue to do so but some things I want a warrenty so for eg If I was to buy suspension from a supplier here "STILL WAITING" (lol) and it was faulty, I'd be on the phone quick smart Razz but thats where I'm comming from, so good luck and make sure you spend some of your hard earned in WA also. Very Happy

i don’t know where you get that I’m taking sales away from guys in Perth i supply bike stores in Perth with the products i import. you’re the one taking business away from the local guys. Importers like me are creating business for the local guys.

you say “why don’t you make wheels and tyres yourself and if you have something that the usa don’t have then you have a market, if they go through the torture of designing and outlaying funds for there ideas, then why should we buy of some1 trying to make money of there hard earn money and time” and by the way most fo the tyres and wheels coming out of the USA are made in china so its the Chinese that make the effort, your bighorns are made in Taiwan and your SS wheels are made in china so yeah thanks USA!

if only the manufactures sold their products then they would go broke! the manufactures want distributors like me.
we do put effort into design and have made our own tyres and help my suppliers with lots of feedback and design issues so they can improve the product. Don’t be telling me what i do and don’t do.

Buy the way good luck with it when or if you have a warranty issue, freight back to the USA is not cheap and dammed if anyone in Australia would want to help you with warranty.

Save your effort Andy you cant educate the ignorant. Free Service and advice from people like yourself and Adam at quad squad make the small margin you make a worthy investment.

im all for takin advantage of the yanks whilst their broke, but if u dont have the blokes like andy goin out on a limb and bringin the market to us, the quad scene would be pathetic and over priced. most shops only deal 2 wheels and dont want to no bout 4...
