Because a lot of local MP's have been fobbing off the requests for change.
The sitting MP's cannot get above the level of cut and pasting a response.
The current candidates have to consult with party HQ, to say that they will look into it, which is basically a fob off.
So we are asking people with a Qld address to sign the below petition so we can get it presented to parliament.
It's easy to fill out and we could really do with the support.

The below article sums up what a lot of riders have been experiencing, a withdrawal of previous permisions by people who do not understand the system or really give a rats arse about recreation, of whatever form.

I've been wondering for the last couple of days as to whether DERM will have it's own little section in the QLD government pavilion at this years EKKA (Royal Brisbane show).
I hope they do............ as a RNA member that goes about 8 days of the 10 they are going to get REAL TIRED of me, I can hear them now "oh no here he comes again "

Ha... good one... DERM are a bunch of misinformed bureaucrats... they have too much influence on pollies and policy.

Come on guys there are only 93 signatures on the petition. I have about 10 friends (non quad riders) who have taken the time to sign this for US. There would have to be more than 93 quad riders from Qld on this forum... give everyone a few minutes of you time and sign the e-petition.
