Hey Darren you you can get a factory fitted cup holder for that bad boy at $73.50. That alone would seal the deal.

Actually the timing on the DS90X is 2 degrees retarded from the factory.
It is part of making them meet safety standards.

Many of the 90's share the same components and in this case the engine pack is nearly identical to the Polaris 4 stroke as well.
The width of the DS90X makes them an incredibly stable beginers bike and like any CVT quads the limited standard power is easy to use.
With about 3.6hp, they won't blow anyones socks off, but as junior grows with the bike, extracting up to 5hp is very easy and cheap (partially because of their factory slightly de-tuned state).

Wheels and tyres are the same as Honda, Kwaka, Can-Am etc Big bikes, which can make borrowing spare wheels and stuff like that pretty easy too.

Welcome Husky Goat to another CanAm Thread im glad that you could have some valued input, We should call you Borat !!!!! Yes the 90's are retarded but so are the yamaha 450's i advanced the timing on mine and scared the crap out of the person i sold it to Junior riders have to start somewhere. i already have hyper Viper and the DS 90 would be good for my Daughter.

The DS90X has reverse also. The engine packs are nearly identical and just about every part will swap over.
They are both 89cc but the Polaris runs a 51.2mm stroke and 47mm bore and the Can-Am runs a 49.5mm stroke (same as Honda) and 48mm bore.
Heads, Carby etc are identical.
Both have the same gearbox, including reverse.

MrsB's Jumbo is a simple 50mm re-bore with a high comp piston, and 2 degree timing advance.
This 97cc configuration lifted hp from 3.6hp to 5.1hp
Great off the line, tight stuff and hills, but the two strokes would pull better at speed and top end.

QuadSquad does the bore up kits for Polaris and Can-Am.

Have had one for about 14 months purchased for now 10 yo daughter, its an 2009 model extremely wide and pretty stable.
Great bike for learners as it takes a bit to get moving but now my 8 yo and 6 yo boys are ridng it and throwing it round a little too easily so you need to keep them in check.
My daughter now under supervision rides my 400 but she still has the fear of God in her the boys DON'T
Cheers Mike[/img]
