Hi,
Just bought my first ATV.. could anyone from WA (perth surrounds) let me know where some good areas are to go. With and without kids

hey ya mate welcome to the world of quads,
with kids try behind barbagallo raceway (pinjar Offroad area)not many idiots and some big open space for kids to learn

without kids try gnangara pines if you are game , lots of idiots, lots of whoops and lots of dumped rubbish.
or lancelin dunes great place to ride a quad just watch out for the razorback dunes they can change daily and put you in a world of hurt real quick, I usually take it real easy up there for first hour just to suss out where the razorbacks are and then let rip
Or you could take a look at the ATVWA club they have a track at woodridge bout hour north of perth, good family place. speak to Mike at Quadparts in Wanneroo he is the president and will be able to tell you what you need to do to get the keys to ride their.
good luck and stay on all fours. Not too sure bout south of the river spots but sure their someone on here who does

Chriso it depends on how far you want to travel, we have great areas down at Donnybrook for adults and kids, no idiots no rubbish and good trails and open areas.
Drop me a line if you are keen to travel and i will show you some great areas for you and the kids.

mate lancelin is awesome and like what has already been said , the razor backs are what you need to watch out for .
south of the river is where i live and myalup beach or binningup is the go part of the harvey shire , an awesome day with beach to tracks and loads of open spaces.
gets a bit crowded but on the right day is a good day out.

Pickering! Although you have to go Ashendon rd enterance now, big open spaces, snake trails, obviously other riders around but heaps of places to go exploring!!!

I have been on this ride with these guys and boy what a day they gave me. I recommend this to any1 that is a moderate to experienced rider. There terrain will even test the pro rider if you challenge them. These guys are hilarous, responsable, friendly and very helpful.

I am heading back up there in a week being the 10th of july leaving Rocko at around 8-815 if any1 wants there quad on my trailer or would like to meet up and drive up with me they are more than welcome - Dont be shy if you have a sense of humour this is the place for you TRUST ME ON THIS

Hi every1

Wondering if any1 would like to join me for another ride up to donnybrooke again this weekend
Will be leaving rocko around 8am
This place will definatley challenge the moderate rider with awesome scenery.
its around 70-80 km ride at medium to fast pace, you will be going down steep hills, climbing steep hills and constantly drifting, bike hopping logs and sometimes deep puddles/holes but probly not this time as there has been little rain..........
bring lunch and water and change of clothes for drive home
i have room for someones quad on my trailer if wished (but at own risk)

there are a few of you on here that i recognise

checkout westquad.com - a wa only site and more orientated to weekend social rides - not so much the racing side of things

we tend to do weekly runs local and a few of the boys organise the donnybrook runs on there
