| hello everyone i am thinking of selling my 03 660 ltd raptor and buying a new quad what do you's rekon would be the best for stockton and trail riding i will have about $14000 to spend |

Ive ridden a YFZ.... It gave me sore wrists and arm pump.... Sort of funny sitting position. But it seems to suit a few people.

DUUUUUUDE if you want a mean bike that will go any where fast buy the kfx 700 v-twin.Easy to ride, power ops are cheap and nothin will kill it.or wait six months for the next shipment of canams.

pretty much theses days, all the top name manufacturers make good products, just find one u like the look of i say. honda, yamaha, suzuki, kwaka, they all kick ass, u cant go wrong. JUST DONT BUY A CHINESE IMPORT QUAD! from what ive heard anywayz.

I own a bombardier and love it and wouldnt turn to anything else, but i wouldnt go past a special edition raptor 700 for trail riding.
It has the 450 suspension kit on it, and it goes pretty good for a standard bike.
YFZ450 is more of a race bike and not a trail bike, they are not as reliable as you would think.
Well basically i wouldnt turn to anything but yamaha or bombardier.
But if you are going to be duning heaps on the bike than a bomber baja x.
You will be suprised how good they perform on the dunes and off track, its not the best trail bike cause of its weight and no reverse, although i think they are the most underated bikes for what they have to offer in performance.
But for what you want to spend, id say go for the Rap700 |

If you are good enough to win races you will have the best chance on a Honda , and yes I am Honda bias ,but for good reason ,The two Australian champs in MX Ride them and holeshot and the USA is a similar story . Honda can run reliably from stock 34 Hp to Modified 70 HP (Joe Birds current TRX 450cc is rumoured at 70 Hp)with the OEM modified head ,crank and cases! No other 450 cc to date has achieved this HP. Parts is another issue , as an example price a Suzuki 450 Barrel and then price a Honda 450. JMHO
