hey boys and girls,

we are having another quad only MX practice day at the moreton club on Saturday the 14th of April at Tivoli.
The last quad only day was massive with quads only!!!

Must have
-nerf bars
-kill switch
-proper safety gear inc, helmet boots etc etc etc

if you dont have a race licence you can buy a day license for the day. We can also help you obtain a race licence as well.
Cost is $25 for the day, non QQRA member also welcome, you can also join the quad club on the day.

the last time i went i was stuffed at the end of one lap lol

even if your not into MX its still fun to have a go or even watch the all quad action

lets get behind QQRA and support this event -- remember QQRA is for all quad riders in queensland not just motorcross

Huge, you lasted a whole lap? I did 1/2 a lap and had to stop for a nap and a couple of beers! Still waiting for the 700 to get back and the wife's 660 doesnt have nerfs or a kill switch otherwise I would ride it.

If by any chance you me meant me Huge, I'm coming for a look but not a ride- going to be out that way as it happens. Cant ride even for the experience as no nerfs or kill switch.

Are there any skinny no talent moto-x hacks going out for a ride to support the club or have a look?? (you guys know who you are!!)

As Huge said its for the Quad cause.

Hey Rapshee ....not sure which category i fit into ...at 110kg im not exactly skinny .... however i do have height to help displace some of the weight ...

I tried the bomb at Blackduck , jumps fine but a bit of a handful on mx track .

I might have a go once i get the misses another bike , looking for a ltr450 or rappy 700 for the cause ( i can have an excuse to set it up for racing if i buy it for her) . !!!

hey Huge, thanks for the support mate. The club does what we can with what weve got!

You fellas also need to keep the first weekend in june free as thats when we hit the sand dunes in newcastle. hit me up for details tomorrow , see you then !

I have already organised for the time off for the Stockton trip. After going there over easter I realised how awesome the place is. I hope there is a good turn out for the trip. Where do you guy's normaly stay, Anna Bay?

hey greg,

we stay at a crap motel which is also a 24hr truckstop so we can get food anytime. the rooms are okay, and they sleep 6 in each room so the cost is cheap. the motel is the best western at raymond terrace its about 5-10 minutes to the sand.
we leave on the thursday and back on the monday. Only QQRA members
are allowed to travel with us, this has always been our rule.
people who want to come with us can join the club. thats our only requirement, and that you also wear underwear and shower. we dont want people who stink. !
im really looking forward to it, i am also trying to catch up with someone while im down there so ill probably go a day earlier, if i can catch him.

Jaden,

Have you considered the caravan park at Anna Bay as an alternative to your dodgey truck stop? The cabins are nice and I believe that the person of which you speak can get us a cheap deal on the price (as long as we are on the same page here.) It's about 20min drive to Lavis Lane.

Hair on the beds, I recon you woild be lucky if there was even sheets on the bed!! The cockroaches keep you warm at night to which is a free service.

i travel alot with work and nothing craps me more than bad hotels, so as you know im a bit of neat freak. especially when i find someone elses pubes in my hotel bed !

are you coming to the sand cowboy? let me know and ill make sure they have plenty of steak for you.

tony has been going to the sand for 20 years and he reckons the crap motel is the best especially as they dont care about the noise we make. so im pretty much taking his word that its the best place for us. if our wives etc were coming with us then we would look elsewhere but for a heap of overweight boof heads i reckon it'll do.
