Depends on what you plan on doing with the quad really. If you're just trail riding then I would suggest they will be fine. If you're going to undertake motocross and jumping then they may need to be changed. _________________ Team Ironpot 701 Just Doin It

UPGRADE UPGRADE...it was the last thing i did but should of been the 1st thing to change on the bike....race, enduro, drags & right down to trails (jumps or no jumps) its a must. Better shocks mean a more plush ride which will result in less next day soreness, iv had my new shocks for 8 months now & ive found my riding is getting better because the upgraded shocks soak up the nasty stuff & you can charge straight through, id also recommend a steering dampener to compliment the shocks _________________ 04 TRX 450r

Best money I ever spent on my 400ex, front Elkas & plus one a-arms, worth every cent. If you ride any whoops at all then a rear shock would be a nice plus as well, the stocky kicks like a mule.
If your on a tight budget, you can fit some 2nd hand stockTRX450 front shocks with some modding & revalving, also a good option from all reports. _________________ The term "Foolproof" seriously underestimates the ingenuity of Fools.
