Dear QuadridersSA members,

As I hope you are all aware, we are hosting our first Open Ride Day at Acusa Park this Sunday 5th June. We need as many volunteers as possible to come up and assist in running the day to share the work load and ensure smooth running and an enjoyable day for all involved.

YOU DO NOT NEED AN OFFICIALS LICENCE TO HELP OUT AND YOU WILL STILL GET AN OPPORTUNITY TO RIDE YOURSELF. There are jobs like signing riders in, marshaling riders, scout riding, assisting canteen with food and drink sales etc.

Levis had 170 riders at their ride day this Sunday just gone, hopefully we can attract a similar number as this help will make it profitable event for the club.

We have advertised that gates open from 9am, with riding from 10am to 3pm.

Can you please reply to me confirming if you can help or not and whether you can attend to help for the whole day, morning or afternoon or not at all?

I really hope we get your support so running the day isn't left up to a handful of members!

Apologies for the short notice, but for those that have volunteered their assistance for the ride day, we have scheduled a brief meeting at Caffé Buongiorno (145 The Parade, Norwood, South Australia. 5067) for Thursday 2/6 at 7:30pm for those who can make it, reservation is under Bjorn.

Meeting will be brief and is just to run through how we will manage Sign-In, Riders Track time and allocate volunteers.

if we utilise the skills levis demonstrated last weekend, it's possible to ride and be a marshall, pretty much at the same time. there is a technique to it though troy. if you can make it to the meeting tomorrow night , we'll tell you how it works. very simple really, but i'd rather say it once to a group of people, than repeat it 15 times individually

We at WHYALLA quad riders hoping 2 attend most of QRSA mx thought out the rest of the year and the state titles at acusa park later on in the year

IMPORTANT - Can anyone willing to volunteer at the coming Acusa Park Open Ride Day on Sunday August 7th please let me know. FB Msg, call or txt me 0417864889. Also, if you have a handheld UHF can you please bring it along on the day.

If you don't want to Volunteer and would rather go riding please support the club by coming along to ride as paying customer =)
