I was thinking of using some gel grips , I've got some on my mountain bike that are very good.
Thought it might take some of the vibration out of the bars.

had spider grips , pro taper pillow tops and now using ODI rogue clamp on grips which are great , bit bigger which i find better, dont seem to grip them as tight hence no blisters , well none at Thumb Pump.

Ouri grips are the best I reckon. Like pillows for your hands got the last few pairs from my push bike shop about $18 a pair all sorts of colours even glow in the dark.

Try any push bike or mountain bike shop Mat.
I run Oury's too.
They don't suit smaller hands though, MrsB runs Spider grips.

Pro taper pillow tops, used heaps of different types but the pillow tops are great, comfy grip that doesn't wear too quickly. They prevent blisters reasonably well too.

More likely that you dont grip as hard anymore due to fear or the change in diameter of your grips has reduced the arm pump than the brand of grip. I like the ouri's cos they are comfy cheap and long wearing. I tried the Pro taper pillow tops and they wore out in no time at all. Its all a personal thing i hated the factory grips some people love them.

Nah , No thermals.,,, but the heated grips work well in the freezing cold, will be back in the high country in a few weeks , and hell they are good , they even dry out wet gloves. so laugh one and all , i used to be called soft when i said i had power steering ,, but hey how many people now like it,,, And the way i look at it if i am more comfortable riding and im warm ,, hell i will stay riding longer , unlike the ones that want to stand in front of the fire to thor out , lol

Iv'e tried a few brands now and find wearing Underwares with MX gloves is a better option. Pro Grip are pretty good though.

I have gone back to Oury after trying a few different brands. Anaconda stock them, I think they're a National chain.

I finished up getting some Jet Black grips , Very similar feel to the Oury's
but these have an anodised alloy locking ring either end to hold them on to the bars.
I thought for $20 I'd give them a try.
