Thanx Mart. Yeah, the 300 top end is still at my triker buddy Jared200x's place in Pennsylvania. Its still gotta be sent to Denny at http://flotekperformance.com/ to be sandblasted, modded to accept the TRX330 piston and ported. Then its gonna be polished like the rest of the engine. I chose flotek to perform these mods because they are big on the old 2 strokes. He really knows his stuff. Check out some bikes he's worked on.

This is a Blaster he ported... This is a pretty tough little bike. How crisp is it!!!

Heres a 300R that he ported. Im building my trike to the same specs.

An aircooled 250 should be good for 60-70hp with the right ports and pipe, watercooled around 80hp

a 125 gp bike can put out typically 35-45 and maybe 50 hp in good tune and i know if scaled up to 250 it wouldnt make double but it would not be too far under. Air coolers would make less hp due to heat.

Yeah that Suzuki brought back memories, particularly the sound!

Yeah, your computer signs on and off all the time by itself but i knew you would get it.

I thought i was assembling it today too but i didnt.... Jamie did. lol.
Seriously, i asked him to come over and give me a hand and while i stood there scratching my head, pullin faces, smokin durries and farting he had it done. eek eek eek
I put the bearing cups in the headset and some other little jobs that i couldnt stuff up. Between putting the top and bottom cup in i made sandwiches. I didnt get any pics of the sandwiches... but i got some pics of Jamies work. Thanx a million Jamie.

Sounds good Darren... maybe we can work out a deal. I'll deface my work of art with Yamaha stickers on the condition that you reflect my opinion with stickers i am suggesting... You must plaster your ride with these...

Don't look now mate but someone has given that tyre a mohawk.

You may just beat the TPC to get finished yet.

Haha, the tyre matches my haircut.
It would be cool to have it finished before you finish the TPC but where I'd really like to beat you is on the sand laughing

I am sure even if you get it finished first the TPC will hit the sand first.

Straight line only you may have a chance but with 10 to 11 inches of suspension front and back, I may just have to pick some big bumpy terrain.
It should be fun either way.

My 300 top end arrived at Mum and Dads yesterday. I would have liked to have had it blasted before i had all the work done on it but Denny at FLOTEK was having troubles with his media blaster so i'll be taking it to be blasted then polished in the next few days. I'll post pics when i get it back from polishing.

Awesome build up.
Surely you are not going to ride something that nice.
Surely it has to go straight to the pool room.

Anyway, where are you going to find the chrome ride gear and boots???
