Anyone out there around the Brisbane or Sunshine Coast area looking for a riding buddie !! . Im keen on all riding except Racing.
Looking for responsible beginner to intermediate riders .
No idiots or risk takes please.
Just want to hook up for some weekend riding somewhere within 2hrs drive of Sunshine Coast if possible.
Keen on trips to Stockton etc .
Have Bombardier Quads - Girlfriend might ride if other girls riding.

i know you said you dont want to race, but we have a quad only day at tivoli mx track on sunday, might be a good opportunity for you to meet fellow quad riders? its not racing just riding.

Pro,
I gather the Bomber has arrived from NZ now, horay!! I bet the customs guys made you clean it realy well.
Anyway, my wife and I are going to Stockton for the Easter break if you are interested.
As far as riding legaly anywhere in SE Queensland your pretty much restricted to MX tracks, Blackduck and private property. There are a few organised rides held up your way each year but you will need Recreational Registration.

Hi Gothev8 ,
Yes bikes arrived yesterday. Apparently Customes thought both bikes were brand new and had never been ridden they were that impressed by how clean they were. Still stung me some GST , but otherwise it has been worthwhile bringing them in. Am looking at a Renegade now as well.
Will keep Stockton in mind , thanks for the offer. probabally working through Easter so wont know till closer to the time.
i had heard there are not many places to ride in QLD , not interested in Mx tracks , but always keen for any organised rides. ( problem being new to Aust , u dont know where anywhere is ) .
Will find some forests to run for a while if im lucky.
Please keep me in mind if u hear of any rides within reach.

hi prokiwi, darkchild666 and i go riding every now and then.normaly at the logan village pine forest,the tracks are open and smooth..... good for beginers(im a beginer). i will let you know when we head out next  . as far as the responsible thing goes,im not shore dc666 fits that catergory 
ps. my girlfriend has a quad as well but she is very slow....i wouldnt mind having a putt around that forest of the bruce highway around beerburrum with her one time if thats more your style.

Hi, We ride Cabooltureshire. We live in Burpengary. Usually me a couple of mates, my 4 year old son & my partner ( She is new to Quads & slow, Rides a 250cc Kazuma).
We are way in Sweden at the mo back home 1st April.

Hey Darkchild ...ive played in your sandpit recently ...not bad ..... everyone i have ridden with there falls off though ...whats that all about ....
Happy to have u guys in my sandpit ...but please keep up ...... it gets boring when u have to go back and get those following u cos they are stuck in a rut or upside down in the bush........
he he ...... i havn't been to Beerwah Forest yet , but I know somebody who can show me rou nd so ill let u guys know eh !!!!

practice makes perfect , we all fall off occasionally , some more than others ...........

i was going to take a drive in there over easter to find some tracks
i will map it out on the Gps some one just set the date and we are there

Even more keen now ......hell yeah , have not had much chance to use the 4 x 4 since I bought it ...will have to be day other than Easter Saturday as handbrake will definately want to come as well then.......
Always wanted to go "shiney 4wding" ...... all the fun without the damage ...
And probabally the best way to have a snoop around the area .
