Well I am.
Anyone keen to do some riding in the South of Tas on weekends and public holidays. Looking for other riders who would be interested in doing some riding.
I am available at short notice and live in the Hobart area.
I am sick of going on my own.
Just found some more tracks around Weld River and Barnback which look like a heap of fun. |

Mate you are going to love it.
You will be right amongst it down the Huon.
Mate we have a ride coming up around Easter. If not busy you should join us.
Going on ride this weekend around Ben Lomond which is up North near Launceston and then going on a monster 4 day ride at the end of March on the West Coast of Tassie. The West Coast ride is going to be a cracker. Expecting a LOT of ATV's on this ride.
Look forward to meeting you when you get down to SUNNY Tasmania. |

COOL.
Mate that makes two of us. Not into getting into trouble to go for a ride.
I just came back from 3 days of riding up the North of the state. Had two days riding around Ben Lomond and 1 day up around Bridport. Had heaps of fun.
I know there is a ride coming up on the 21st of May down around Kellevie. That is a day ride and there should be quite a few people on this ride.
In saying that let me know when you have sorted out your RV rego and are keen for a blast.
Look forward to catching up. |

YEP.
LocoMX....Its a shop in the US that has mx gear. Good selection and quick getting it to your front door.
I have been taking advantage of the strong ozzy dollar.
In saying that....I went and bought a high viz jacket from totally work wear (Derwent Park). The kind that you see council workers wearing. Its water proof and designed to be trashed and covered in mud. I have been using that with my waders for wet and muddy trips. Works a treat. Fishing has taken a back seat since having the quad.
As far as bare minimum.... get a good helmet, gloves, goggles and a decent pair of boots.
I just find the local bike shops too expensive. In saying that you can sometimes get last years jersey and pants at stupidly cheap prices. |
