Since Cody Crocker is going in it now I bags going after him coz he has a bar around his lights and I dont.
Either that or one of the 47 boys will have to go round with their head sticking out the top of the 47 Rangie and a chainsaw there were a few low branches last time so I dont want them sticking in my HID's. _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

You mean better than Cody's over head bar Mick? Or?
I'm not expecting to be uberfast honestly, you can bet Cody will an XP, even if Polaris have an XP for display Cody will be driving it because he is their display driver. Hope you can get one then Mick to go against him, dont know that much else will come close?
Personally within 6 laps if Cody goes first I I go last I would expect Cody to lap me at least twice and maybe 3 times
Yogie if I may I will put you down for first reserve or a ride directly if I dont sort someone soon ( I mean to say I have alreadsy asked someone but I dont have their commitment).
At this stage, and I'm going to open another thread on it, I'm going to plan on going to safari but I'll need to recruit a crew to go so I'd be keen on seeing anyone who would like to be part of a crew and go. _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

Hopefully the xps are out by then, damn usa people they are more important than us aussies so they get them first.
I think i mite keep my secret weapon a secret for a while longer, its not a mechanical advantage its more like a physiologocal advantage. Big word i know. Maybe also that i would of done 20 laps of the main track before the sxs race might help me stick with cody. _________________ 2012 sponsors, Working on it. |

Well while you Psyche yourself up, I was talking to one of the the bigger 4wd racing teams and its seems they are taking the plunge into SXS racing and they say they have a RZRs and an XP that they are bringing with their own modified Rollover barwork in place so it will be very interesting to see what they look like and whether any other 4wd teams are taking the plunge in SXS.
Seems like the drip is turning into a flash flood, apologies to anyone affected by floods recently.
Be interesting to find out the numbers registered for SXS.
Hope everyone has their entries in. _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

Well in terms of having std buggies these guys are bolting on that idea and are making their own frame that closely represents what the US are doing now for open class racing so better hope someone follows the idea of race classes like open, std and limited etc.
Ive had a look at their full chrome-moly chassis they are building and their machine is going to have a look more like this than anything at all std.

I hope its at Thumbpump so we can all see whats what in the world.
Before weve had one race the thing I said would come true has and there is a supermachine under our noses and if its allowed to compete, and I say it SHOULD, then nothing short of classifications will do to make things even.
Anybody know how many have signed up for the event?
I have officially but the "big green anchor" in my car which is a good thing because he's on the inside of the track and we'll corner on a dime!! _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

You should thread some webbing in between them to make your own 9 point harness. You and big gav would be well secured. _________________ I'm not suffering from insanity, I'm enjoying it!!! |

I see my reputation preceedes me with Foss
After seeing the training video for Yogie this is what you should wear
Nah you'll be right, let everyone have their jokes you'll be the one with a smile on your dial on the day.
Seriously for wear you should consider something for your shoulder and thigh as any adult male will tell you these things are built to accomodate only 3/4 of an adult body, you'd think it was built by the Japanese!
Seems like we need a fitout/ride day. _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

Yogie I would suggest you bring along Barb's bicycle helmet and maybe an inflatable doughnut. SXS (side by side)is Gav's race name..but his "after race" name is FTB (front to back) _________________ I'm not suffering from insanity, I'm enjoying it!!! |

Good Effort Quad all the way from Ipswich and Roycroft, be good to see same names on the track finally in the SXS's instead of just the keyboard.
Anyone who wants to take Yogie's ride off him in my buggy is more than welcome to stick it up him!!
No doubt you'll hear before you see the jalopy coming (horn may be stuck in on position or the Yogurt may be screaming! )
I just hope the motor can push 32"s up the sand hills coz thats what we'll be trialling.
If anyone wants to try the drags with 32"s on the back against each other they are welcome to try as well. _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs
