giday guys. i,m in the process of lowering my raptor just did the front and i,m wondering about the 2 aluminium brackets i put on.

what position do you tighten these up in? i,m thinking they obviously go hard up against the frame because otherwise the would slip up into that position anyway.

has anyone else done this and can confirm this it lowered it 60mm .

cheers
for any info.

Are you trying to fit a lowering kit ?
There are many ways to lower a quad, would help if you gave more specific info...

Are you doing flat track riding ?

ive already fitted it mate .

rear swing arm had a longer shaft put in. and the front had 2 aluminium brackets that add 60mm to the top of the shocker towers you have to take the lights out because the shocker now sits higher ( i have 100 watt spottys anyway)

what i,m saying is the aluminium bracket now can sit hard up against the spot where the shocker bolted to. OR do you sit it a bit lower so it doesnt rub there on the shocker mount? BUT if you do this it will probably slip up into this position anyway.

want me to post a pic?

if you dont knoiw what lowering kit i,m talking about you will never understand anyway mate.

Im pretty shure it has to sit hard against the frame. I know it does on Dads banshee when he lowers it. Smile
