Wow when was the last time you priced PEP suspension in Australia and who from ?
$5000 was that including A arms ? What spec are they if you don't mind me asking and do they have rebound adjustment on the front shocks and what Brand of Quad are they for ?

Len I don't mean to start an argument here or anything but you, yourself told me 6 months ago that pep shocks for my ds450 would be between 3k and 5k depending on what model shock and the exchange rate....

and no that wasnt with a-arms...

so that question i would raise is; has pep dropped their pricing in the last 6 months or has something else gone on behind the scenes.. because from your above statement (this is the way i read it anyway) 5k or less should

get me a full set of top line custom pep shocks with rebound on the front
shocks AND a set of a-arms these days

Yes the pricing has changed in the last 6 months for the better Smile

Yeh probably but it wouldnt be a battle if I didnt try.I only do the ATV business because I love the sport, by the time I take business expenses ,sponsorship out I break even. I need have a normal job because their is little loyalty anymore. Everyone sees the start price and the end price but not the in-between expenses that a business has to pay, just saying it is wise to get current pricing in Australia because they have improved over the last few months and you get to contribute to OZ families and the economy.
A business owner or employee of a business may even spend money where you work and help feed you.
Just a though .

Definately recommend Rocky mountain ATV...I have ordered just about everything i could and never been more than 6 days to WA. Tracking on all goods and further discounts when you keep shopping there.

I would like to support local too but you cant ignore the savings.. We have a ATV business and can get even further discounts that every other business can. Someone in Aus is making the $$.Have you guys ever had someone help you when the goods are bad or faulty in Aus?

Saving nearly 2k on a set of shocks from the USA i can still afford to send them back if there is issues and be in front.

Full set PEP from USA $3100 plus freight...Aus $5000....
maxxis tyre USA $88 ...Aus $200+[/quote

we have a ATV photography business but are also registered to sell ATV parts.
I am lucky enough also to have a mining industry wage .
The only reason we havent gone into sellng the parts is that as like everyone else you cant compete with the overseas market.

5k was quoted from our local supplier that was supposedly doing a good deal. I know of several guys here who have paid 5K or nearly that here in WA and just for Shocks.

Due to the current situation of the USA dollar and personal research on buying online from the USA as a retail buyer we have recently negotiated better pricing from the owner of PEP suspension.
ATV NRG is the sole Australian distributor of PEP suspension and we sell direct to public.
Our pricing is now much more competative and inline with an overseas online purchase .
You will get support in Warranty, parts, sales and set up help OZ style.
As long as we are comparing apples and apples . I have lost some sales on price only to find they got no rebound adjustment which is A $500 USD option, we would have had a better price if quoted like for like. They could not return them.
ATV NRG has worked with the best racers in OZ and won the last 5 years in MX pro titles and many other classes. We have developed PEP spec OZ style and we now order a different spec for our customers.

i have just rebuilt my banshee head to toe bars to tyres 90% from the states purely because of price just one example lonestar steering stem here $600 to$700 usa $250 including postage so some one somewhere is trying to poke us you know where the local distributor or the bloke from the local shop needs to wake up dont want to go broke price reasonably and ill buy here so in my opinion buy from the states as for feeling uneasy **** that if they dont want to work on my bike someone will my money will end up in someones pocket eventually
