To "just doin it" i can't come because i think Ohlins are the best shock on all the planets,no i'm just kidding, end it here!!!!! I am just getting over a couple of prolapsed discs in my back etc, etc.I would have looked at it but there is a group of us already booked at Manar Park for Easter and i hope i will be right to go. I believe you are having this event a few times a year? Hopefully next time, thanks for the offer.

Even if i did show the GOV it is NOT rec riders having a problem,we are all just lumped in together, "damn quadbike thingy riders"!! If it is only farmers etc, they should come under workplace health and safety controls and regulations ,not us.

I work in an A&E department of a local hospital and have worked in Flinders ICU. It's stories like this that give me the SH#TS . No info about the incident apart from being on a farm, being FOUND by a family member and no mention of helmet or what quad he was riding!!! Yes it is sad and my heart goes out to the family but it is this negative press that gives quads a bad name.
I live on a small farm in the Adelaide Hills and our girls ride quads but never without a helmet and never without adult supervision. Our girls also race mx on their quads which is frowned upon by some of my work colleagues but I keep telling them about all the safety gear etc and what we did as kids was way worse like going down a steep suburban road on a banana board with nothing but bathers/swimmers/toggs on!
In a year of quad racing I have only witnessed 3 accidents none of which were serious yet if I went to a BMX or skateboarding event there are way more injuries.
Just my thoughts! _________________ If you're not having fun, it's not worth doing
