Hey guys, any idea of how many ppl are likely to show up at stockton for the weekend.
i have a few friends in the media that may be able to give us some good PR rather than the crap we normally cop about ripping up the plant life and shifting the dune ten meters in land every weekend.

There expecting closer 2 2oo bikes, dont no about advertising its kinda not exactly friendly to law abiding citizens. If any trouble should find us we are swaping bikes. the poor old rangers going to have fun placing bikes with riders ,not to mention 200 very unhappy atvers standing next to him...lol

there is gunna be alot of confusion with the ranger and rego and permits as the aboriginals now have control of the beach. I would like to know whats happening with that. i wont be paying any rego/beach pernits only to have then cancelled two weeks later if the national parks take over.
plus they still have to catch you anyway.

i would say upwards of 150 bikes, its hard to put a figure on it as not everyone that will be going are on the forum so, given the responce i have recieved, easily 150+.

I will be getting a UVP as i did last time and i have a current beach permit, i figure if there are avenues to do things the legal way why flaunt with the risk of getting caught, cost me total about 40 buck last time from memory.

UVP is just piece of mind, it covers your CTP

Its not a matter of the RANGER wont catch me, it is when you end up in the front end of a 4WD, or run over a kid playing in the dunes that rego is really important. I really hate the attitude of they wont catch me. The more people crashing or getting stopped on unregistered bikes is giving us a worse name every time. No rego means no insurance. I know I wouldn't want some young kids medical bills for the rest of their lives.
Rec rego is $460 a year (first year) slightly less next year after. I pay 3 months at a time $150 (first 3 months) $120 there after for 3 months. Cheap fun to me, and good piece of mind knowing im doing it and my ass is covered.

Mate of mine went yesterday and got his cost $ 27.00 for the weekend..piece of mind I say....he was also told that there is no conditional rego for stockton any more it is changing, he got an unregistured vihicle permit.

I think we will all be suprised about how many turn up posibly 200+

Bad news is that I did run into the avon lady (yes I know that is sad) and her husbands 4X4 club is having a club day up there the same time $27.00 bucks I think your crazy if you dont have it....

Be awere to that it is the first long weekend and start of the school holidays since the take over......
