Not pep, cause I like and am faster on the fox shox.. But before u go saying that's my problem... Does precision make shocks? No they don't and doesn't matter wat geometry I run.. Steering dampers are there take major jolts.. It does nothing.. Be as fast or slow with out it.. Anyway I would recommend spend the extra get a precision..

Steering Geometry and Rim offset has everything to do with handling and feedback to the rider.

I really feel the fact Precision makes dampers only has nothing to do with anything?

Any Damper will provide resistance from feedback to the rider.

Ryan Lancaster is faster than you and runs both PEP damper and shocks.

Barry Noyes also just won a National title on PEP Shocks and Dampers and so did I.

I am glad you like the products you choose to run, good luck.

I will base my buying decisions on value for money, proven Racers and proven race results .

Hey if u really want to get down to what wins races it's the determination and skill of the rider but if u want to get into the parts side of things precission and fox are the way to go just look at the results in the states it's as simple as that and also that u can fine tune these two products so much better

Also the precission damper helps with handling not only absorbs shocks from hard hits

That's what I finished up getting , very well made and a fair bit cheaper than that laughing
Does anyone have any pics of where they mount them on a banshee
I have it mounted on the left side of the frame but it looks like the adjuster will foul on the front nose cone.

Sorry Stevo I only have fitting instructions for PEP.
Give the company you bought it from in the States they should be able to help.

Typical Roycroft sell job for his sponsors, and the sell isn't very convincing, If you wouldnt race with one yourself ?
Well you can race with the PEP damper, buy it at USA competative pricing and it even comes with instructions, pic and support in OZ.

I had a streamine on my Banshee, had to drill a 30mm hole in the front of the nosecone so the rod could stick through it, probably wasnt the right mounting spot but it worked.

I agree it is mainly the rider ,however when you get into a situation where their is only a few seconds a lap between the competion Pro or amateur then suspension,Tyres, set up and handling can be the difference of winning or loosing.
The parts thing USA is only one of few countries in the world where Fox are winning and the reason is they have bought the rights to run in that team .
Truth be know Weinan wants to Run PEP but is not allowed because of the 100k Fox put into the team.PEP won't pay for racers to use their products.
Upperman runs PEP but also works a 10 hour day on his Folks farm and that's the main reason why Natalie and Weinan beat him .Where their is no money paid PEP dominate all over the world. Team KTM Europe, Australia,South Africa...
