Dan , nice car ...
If it was me id buy new trailer for $1100 reg from Nathans or one of the local places around u . There is one in beenleigh that does good lightweight trailers for a good price ...u will need 6 x4 lightweight only.

Last thing u want is to be stranded on the side of the road with broken down trailer , and bike and no way to get home.

Car boot looks too small to put quad in unfortunately. And unless u are a good mechanic , the last thing u want to do is running repairs....

Cheers Aaron, i will check out this place and see what goes. u recon that trailer would have ramps at all or will i have to whip something together?

I would have to agree with Prokiwi about buying a good standard trailer to start with, but keep in mind that if you flip your rims, get an aftermarket axle or a-arms or do anything to widen your quad at all, it will not fit in a 6x4. 99% of quadriders who buy a standard trailer will go for a 7x5. A little dearer, but at least you will de able to transport ANY quad, not just a bone stocker. To fit in a 6x4 you will need to make up ramps so it sits over the wheel arches.

definately go 7*5 as you will inevitably rort yourself with a 6*4
ramps ... just use 2 bits of wood slide under bike once loaded, cheap and easy. also if you can, get jerry can holders so you dont have to put fuel in your car.

Check in the trading post as well, you can quite often get good deals on second hand trailers that are in great nick.

Is that car a Mazda 3? It would be a good idea to check with the manufacturer on its towing capacity, you don't want to void your insurance/warrantee! I just purchased a new Subaru and had to fit an oil cooler kit to it when the tow bar was installed.

how much do you wish to spend ----- there is some goodens on ebay in bris/goldy
we could make one like just a frame with ramps and with no floor just to runners for your tyres to keep the weight down for $500 with paint
you would have to help make it as i ant doing it all my self --- it would only take one day tops

Agreed, don't get caught out by buying a 6x4 TLR.

If you have some mates willing to knock one up for you by providing the materials, I'd go down that path. It may save you a few quid and you could even get it painted the same colour as the car or match the Quad colours.

Your car should have no troubles towing the weight of one quad with riding gear.

maybe you should get a towbar on the quad and tow your car around?
just kidding dude, your bike just does it for me more than the car.

i gotta be honest, the bike has double the genitals the car has. the car is like a kitten tied to a rope. but i love the bike far more than the car. Cool

Buy a 7X5. If you have the money get it gal as well.
Ramps? Just lift the front then the rear onto the trailer.
Ramps will only get stolen from pin heads if not locked.
