i am wanting to use a spot light on my 2004 kfx700. i have a 100w 6000000 candela 12v spot light. will the electrical system cope, should i install an under-voltage cut out?? i already have the rifle mounts fitted but no good if i can't see!! Ideas?? also does anyone know of after-market luggage racks other than a six pack rack, or do i need to manufacture my own??

Maybe drop back to a 55watt bulb Herbie. ( or go for a LED or HID spotty if dollars allow. ) I didn't loose a lot of light dropping to 55 watt.
( Actually our Led lenser torches throw a better light. Rolls eyes )
Racks are easy enough to knock up, if somewhat fiddly.....

Alternator: Type Three - phase AC
Rated output 25 A, 14 V @6 000 r/min (rpm)

A 100w / 12v bulbs draws @7.25 ampere.

The electrical system should cope.
