Due to the extreme success of the oz day events, I, like most feel that we should gather like this more often.
Now in the past, as has been stated the event planning has mainly been left to the same couple of people, and while there efforts have been amazing and faultless, I think myself and others should play a more active role as many hands make light work.
Ok lets decide on a date.
Overnight event or day event?.
Games included? (hell yeah)
Show and shine cause there are so many unique and schmick trikes around.
Food?
Music?
Location location.

And most importantly whos keen lets see.

Lets make this big.

I reckon overnight we should poll that one.Would be fun to ride race play all day sit back with fire at the end of the day with a few beers talk some crap, listen to music, Then next day to ride abit then pack up an head home.

Games:Well that egg race was so fun i would say definately more games.

show an shine yeh for sure.

Food i would say bbq but being good friday an all we can sort that out i spose.

music:Im sure i can organise our generator for some tunes or ben can bring his drums eek

As long as you arent one of em lol eek

Just keep in mind that some people may have family or other commitments already so we really need to make sure we maximise peoples availability.
Maybe a poll for each day of the long weekend to gauge who is and isnt available. I think easter monday would be the go except that is anzac day and some may be going to a march, but i guess they are always early in the day. This could be the anzac ride laughing

What about any weekend other than the long weekend.

As mentioned before some people may already have other things organised for the up coming long weekend ( I know I have, I take my kids out to the farm for the easter weekend every year, so they can all ride their quads).

I'm with Ben, keen no matter what. The over nights would be harder for me though as I work every Saturday until 12pm but I can get there any time after that
As for music, I have a portable sound system that runs on it's own battery, I can bring that no problem at all

I recn Id look ok in hot pants boob tube, and flirting eek ,
As far as the availability issue, just post up possible dates that suits you, whether it falls on a public holiday or not and then we can go with the majority, its all about getting trikers to come then we can structure the day to suit.
