I am rebuilding my bike again after finding the cam chain is nearly gunna go, so I've decided to do the whole thing while I'm at it. The guy I am getting to help me do the engine said that I should probably put a new crank in too, the engine would have around 150 hours on it. Other people have said that it shouldn't need one. What is everyone else's opinion? Also what brand piston would you all recomend? _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

Also anyone had anything to do with putting a WR crank in? Fair few of the americans do it because apparently they are lighter and rev easier. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

can also turn it into a hand grenade..... stick with the proper one and yes if your at 150 do the crank and main bearings. _________________

Yeah, I didn't end up going with the WR one. Putting in a YFZ one and doing the main bearings aswell. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

good choice if your gonna split the block replace all servicable parts with new then you'll know it will last you out. The price for knowing you did it right pays its self of in reassurance. _________________ adrenaline junky... |

Thought we did it right but it has done a head gasket already. Not happy at all. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"
